- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1/2- inch piece fresh ginger peeled
- 1 cup almond milk or your preferred milk
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
- 1 –2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- A pinch of sea salt
- Ice cubes optional
Place strawberries, fresh ginger, almond milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and sea salt into the blender.
Blend on low speed initially, then gradually increase to high speed and blend for about 30 seconds or until the smoothie is smooth and creamy.
If the smoothie is too thick, add more milk; if it is too thin, add more yogurt.
Pour into glasses, garnish with crushed ginger snaps or graham crackers, and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
