- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cups milk dairy or dairy-free
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Let batter rest for 5–10 minutes if time allows.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake and cook for 2–3 minutes, until bubbles form on the surface. Flip and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
