Classical Christmas Playlist

Need Christmas music for your Christmas party or to listen to while decorating your Christmas tree? Check out this classic free  Christmas music playlist, it’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

I love Christmas music. I have so many Christmas memories that have to do with music. Like decorating the tree while listening to Barbara Streisand’s A Christmas Album and Neil Diamond’s The Christmas Album.

I choose these albums because we listened to them a lot when I was a kid. We always listened to Barbara Streisand’s album while we put up the Christmas tree and Neil Diamond’s was also a frequently played album. Turning one of these albums on will always put me in a Christmas mood and bring back childhood memories.

Listening to Christmas music is such a good way to put yourself into the Christmas mood. I’ll sometimes listen to it during the year if I’m having a bad day. I have a hard time being in a bad mood while listening to Christmas music. It also almost always brings back good memories.

A great way to listen to free Christmas music is by using Spotify, a music streaming service. You can get a free account that will have ads or get a premium account for no ads. Either way, it’s my favorite place to listen to Christmas music and it can be used on your computer or mobile device. 

I have several Christmas playlists on Spotify. A large playlist that is basically every Christma song I find, one that is jazz Christmas music, an instrumental playlist, and of course a classic Christmas music playlist. I also enjoy following playlists other people create. It’s a fun way to find new favorites.

Today I wanted to share the classic playlist I created. It has 22 songs which equal about an hour’s worth of music. It’s a great playlist to turn on before decorating.
