This classic meatloaf recipe is just like the traditional meatloaf grandma used to make. It's tender and juicy with the perfect tomato glaze!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced carrot
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, celery, carrot, ketchup, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Bake the meatloaf for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
