Creamy, wholesome overnight oats made with simple ingredients you likely already have on hand. Perfect for busy ranch mornings and endlessly adaptable to the seasons.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or unsweetened almond/coconut milk)
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds (optional, for texture & extra protein)
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup or local honey
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a mason jar or container with a lid.
  2. Stir well until everything is combined.
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight (6–8 hours).
  4. In the morning, give a stir and thin with a splash of milk if needed.
  5. Top with fresh fruit, nuts, or seasonal extras—or enjoy as is!

Notes

  • Store in the fridge up to 4–5 days.
  • Use wide-mouth pint jars for easy prep and stacking.
  • Adjust sweetness and spices to taste.
